Richard

I've drawn this model several times at CSULB.  He has such an interesting body shape - he's kinda like an El Greco painting come to life.  It seems that you cannot exaggerate his limbs long enough - he's really that tall.

It's fun drawing nudes again.  There's one thing that kinda bothers me about this particular drawing, but other than that - I'm pretty happy with it.

  1. Wow, I'm going to sound REALLY immature but I never knew anyone who actually drew nudes in real life. IN REAL HUMAN FORM! I thought it was only on t.v.! LOL! I would give up my photography any day if I could express myself through drawing.

    1. It's okay Nanny. Now you can say that you do know someone now!

It took me a while to break it to my parents, haha. I showed another drawing to my Mom (Full frontal shot, mind you) and she wasn't even phased. I've trained her well, hahaha.

  2. How can he sit still for so long? I couldn't even sit still for 10 seconds! (I'm sure you remember.) Really nice Richard, Sarah.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA.

    1. They are Models for a reason, bean :D.

This particular drawing took me 15 minutes. I started to noodle with it too much, but I'm happy with the finished result.

And yes...I do remember your modeling attempt for me. HAHAHAHA
